Which UGG to Choose for Winter

From October onwards, warmth becomes a priority again, and the winter delivery has arrived. Here’s how the models available in our boutique differ.

  • Tazz: the same Slides on a 4.4 cm platform. The styles are among the UGG Tazz.

If you’re looking for a higher sole, you’ll find all the platform models among the UGG platform. Sizing varies from one model to another. UGG: Brand Heritage and Identity

UGG was founded in 1978 from an idea by Brian Smith, an Australian surfer who emigrated to California. The goal was simple: to bring to the beach the warmth of the shearling Boots worn by surfers after their sessions in the water. In the 2000s, the brand became a global phenomenon. Classic Boots, worn by celebrities, became a cultural phenomenon. Today UGG is part of Deckers Brands and is synonymous with luxury comfort. Classic Boots use Twinface sheepskin, with shearling on the inside: it keeps feet warm in winter while allowing them to breathe.

Every pair of UGG is made from carefully selected materials. Twinface shearling has an inner pile of approximately 17 mm: this thickness guarantees warmth and softness.

Many models use UGGplush™, a blend of regenerated wool and Tencel lyocell fibres. The latest-generation soles are made from SugarSole™, an EVA foam derived from sugarcane that replaces some petroleum-based materials. The linings also use recycled polyester fibres.
